Youth center and district library, Stuttgart

For this pro­ject, we were com­mis­sio­ned to install par­quet, rub­ber flo­o­ring, and car­pet.
A woven car­pet by Car­pet Con­cept was sel­ec­ted. Its flat wea­ve com­ple­ments the modern design of the libra­ry and crea­tes a calm, focu­sed atmo­sphe­re.

For the par­quet, the choice fell on a high­ly dura­ble indus­tri­al-gra­de solid oak par­quet. With a thic­k­ness of 10 mm, it can be reno­va­ted mul­ti­ple times over its life­span.

The rub­ber flo­o­ring was instal­led as a homo­ge­neous sheet mate­ri­al. Visual­ly ali­gned with the building’s style, it resem­bles a con­cre­te sur­face.
